Drago Restaurant in Essen

Very nice restaurant, very courteous service and corona measures were adhered to in an exemplary manner. The food was good, but it didn't knock us over, which unfortunately represents a poor value for money given the prices. Maybe we'll come back again, let's see.

It was very good again. Rump steak and baked potato. Splendid.

The food was delicious and the waiters very friendly. Hygiene rules were implemented perfectly. Despite Corona, we felt very safe. Only the interior we found a bit too old-fashioned. It could easily be renovated or modernized.

We liked it here. We enjoyed really good food in cozy rooms with lots of little things. The service was attentive, quick and friendly. It is possible to pay by credit card and contactless. We'll definitely come back again

The dish with different steaks, French fries and sauce Bernaise was delicious, meat very well fried, but the portion could have been bigger for the price. But then a bit expensive. I don't find the atmosphere so cozy, and also relatively small tables. The background noise can also get loud quickly. The waitresses are very welcoming with you. ??

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and prepared quickly. You can enjoy a nice get-together in a cozy atmosphere. In summer you can enjoy your meal outside. There are parking spaces right at the restaurant. We would be happy to come back.

The restaurant is in a quiet side street, parking spaces are available and wheelchair access is wheelchair friendly. Unfortunately no access to the toilets. The Drago has been family-owned for decades. That it is good, unfortunately the portions have shrunk a bit during the pandemic. The service is always friendly and quick. The restaurant is also easy to reach by bike, it is located on the Essen Seeler Radtrasse.

The things I ordered on the menu were nicely arranged and are always brought warm. The chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables very adequate. You don't even get the feeling of having dinner there like cucumbers in a can. The workforce was fast, clean and nice. I haven't been that impressed by a restaurant for a long time.

Super delicious schnitzel, great service and a uniquely beautiful ambience. What more can you expect to enjoy while eating. Fried potatoes delicious and fresh. Great attentive service in all respects. Top.

Most of this is a treat for the palate. The quantities are an appealing and filling dimension. I found the offer extremely appealing. The waiters are extremely amiable and very obliging every time. That gives us a lot of pleasure every time we visit. My husband and I find the restaurant suitable for all occasions, whether with friends or family; ).

Home-style food with great quality. Very friendly staff who create a very pleasant, family feel-good atmosphere. Even in the rooms and the outside area you feel like in Grandma's parlor / garden. Everything is very detailed, special and decorated with love. And all in all, great value for money!

We have been going to the Drago for years! Whether for school enrollment, weddings, birthdays, funerals etc.! It is a consistently great quality in terms of staff and especially the food. Here you go to feel "at home", at least this exudes the staff and the great atmosphere there! I would recommend anyone to eat there once. After that you will recommend it to others :)

I love the food and good service.

Sufficient parking spaces in front of the restaurant, nice and cozy inside and it was nicely decorated for Christmas; the staff was very, very nice, funny and attentive and above all the boss (I assume that it was her) - is the heart with her rough humor. Once we had to wait a little longer than we wanted to order something - the situation solved you simply super. They also have a well-organized approach to paying. You get on Start with a card with a table number and another number that makes paying easier if you pay separately. It was very practical. In the end you just go to the checkout with your card and pay. Without having to list everything. It works just fine. Now for dinner: Aaaaalllleessss was super delicious. The steaks are a poem but also schnitzel and desserts were really tasty. I find the prices absolutely reasonable. Absolute recommendation from me.
